A big shout out to the Gamma Phi girls who stuck it out for 32 hours on their feet for DM!! It’s a big challenge, but in the end its all FTK! WAY TO GO Erin Buckley, Cara Albaum, Lene Hertzfield, and three newly initiated sisters Lauren Cusata, Amanda Agoglia, and Sarah Amendolare.

These are the girls we give a special thanks to for helping 48 new sisters cross into the Delta Mu chapter! Our initiation took place on Friday, March 30, and it would not have been possible without our Education VP Shannon Kaminski or New Member Education Christy Ricciuti. They prepped these girls throughout the whole process to make them ready for the years they have of Gamma Phi ahead of them.

Sister Spotlight!
There are barely any words that can describe the gratitude we have for our current Recruitment Chair Nadia Ganguly!!! She surpassed all of the expectations we had for this spring recruitment. She worked incredibly hard, setting up and decorating at the house for hours the night before each event. And in the end, we received an amazing bid list of 51 girls! It was truly an exceptional recruitment.

Gamma Phi Beta is so excited for Spring 2012 formal recruitment! We are hosting a Meet the Sisters at our house at 4 Mine Street on Thursday, January 19 at 9:30 PM. We can’t wait to hang out with and get to know the PNMs. :-)
We are sad to see so many seniors leave us this semester, but also looking forward to the new sisters that will enter the chapter. We are all proud to be a part of such a strong and diverse sisterhood, and here are some photos from the past year that show what we are all about!

Sister Spotlight
Perhaps the most deserved sister spotlight of all is for our President Brittany Lee!
From spring to fall of 2011, Brittany did an outstanding job in leading our chapter. Being president is far from easy— if you can handle 100 girls you can handle anything! The improvements she made to the chapter were clear. With her has president Gamma Phi earned three out four stars on our annual report from OFSA and five out five crescent moons from the International Gamma Phi Beta. We are all sad to see her leave office, but also excited for our new executive board! Congrats to everyone!

Gamma Phi Beta placed first in the Lip Sync event of Sigma Chi’s Derby Days 2011! We are so proud and happy to have contributed to the incredible $167,000 raised for Children’s Miracle Network. Congrats to all of the other sororities, and to Sigma Chi for another rewarding Derby Days.
